Braziers Park is situated within the Chiltern Hills, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the village of Ipsden and close to the town of Wallingford. To the north lies Oxford and to the south, Reading.
Travelling by car from London: Leave M4 at Junction 8/9. Proceed to Henley and then on through Nettlebed to the CROWMARSH ROUNDABOUT (A4130). Turn left onto the A4074 towards Reading. Carry on as far as the signpost for “Braziers Park/Ipsden Heath” and turn left there. This will bring you to Braziers’ front gates. Ignore all earlier signs to Ipsden, they will take you to the village.
From Reading: Go out over Caversham Bridge, then first left onto the A4074, signposted Oxford. Proceed as far as the signpost for Braziers Park, turning right.
From Oxford: Follow signposts out of Oxford to Henley/Wallingford/Reading (A4074). Just after the village of Ipsden there is a signpost to Braziers Park, turning left.
From the West: Leave M4 at Junction 8/9 and proceed as from London.
The nearest railway station to Braziers Park is in Goring, though volunteers and guests traveling by train are advised to go to Reading railway station and then catch the X39/X40 bus to Braziers Park as these buses run from just outside Reading railway station.
As these buses travel between Reading and Oxford you can do the same from Oxford, but the bus stop is a 10 minute walk from the railway station. See information bellow regarding directions from Oxford railway station to the bus stop.
