Kitchen co-ordinator/Cook – Job Share

A vacancy has arisen for a new community member to job-share in our large victorian kitchen cooking mainly on a large Aga.  Approx 17 hours per week + 8 hours community work in exchange for room and full board (no salary).

Applicants should be able to demonstrate an interest in Integrative Social Research as well as kitchen management and cooking experience  for  20-50 people.  Most of our meals are vegetarian although meat from home or locally reared animals is served occasionally. All of our ingredients are organic and home-grown or locally/ethically sourced where possible.  Applicants will need to be flexible about hours worked and prepared to work two weekends out of  four.

After submitting an application, short-listed applicants will each be invited to stay with us for a few days, once  a decision has been made the successful applicant will be invited to join us on a 3 month trial period.  Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by email.
