a 2-day immersive journey of self-discovery
Reembody the Story of Your Soul
As with various other cultures around the world, Damanhurians believe that the soul survives physical death. We, therefore, have many incarnations. This “story of our soul” across the vast continuum of time and space carries with it valuable information that can assist us in our present lives. What we learn about our “former selves” can infuse our current experiences with deeper meaning, purpose, contentment and joy.
In this five-level course, participants learn the unique Damanhur approach to remembering one’s past lives (at least, the ones that are most significant to one’s present life). Students are trained in practical techniques to help resurface memories, talents and opportunities that can be utilized in this life. Art, theatre, meditation, play, journeying and other practices are explored to help students reawaken and reembody the “character” they once were. In so doing, they learn how to apply this to the present in order to better understand their personality traits, reconnect with past competencies and overcome limitations.
Level 1 allows participants to deeply investigate one past life and receive some awareness of another. As the course builds through 4 levels, students have an opportunity to send the accumulated intuitions they’ve received about their past lives to Damanhur’s Way of the Oracle, where this information is verified. By the close of level 5, participants are able to comprehend their “big picture” — to see their many lives as pearls on a necklace, each one being precious but all connected in a single purpose and mission.
Anyone who is motivated merely by curiosity or, more deeply, by a strong desire to know themselves better will enjoy this curriculum. The preparatory process is fascinating in itself: participants are asked to submit two photographs one month prior to the start of the course: one recent photo and another taken at some time in the past. Both photos must be dated on the back along with the participant’s full name and their place and date of birth. Specialized past researchers at Damanhur then carefully investigate the person’s past lives and issue a personal report of their discoveries during the course.
- The course runs for two full days (9 am to 7 pm). The workshop requires attendance on both days.
- To experience the full benefit of the course, we suggest keeping your evenings free during its running.
- Due to the time required for the Oracle research and the need for adequate individual attention from Wapiti Azalea, this course is limited to a maximum of 15 students.
- Registration is open till 26th April.
- A non-refundable deposit of £100, birth name, date and place of birth, and a recent photograph with face and eyes clearly visible are required upon registration – and no later than 26th April 2018.
Damanhur is a Federation of spiritual communities, nestled in the Alpine foothills north of Piedmont, Italy. Founded in 1975 under the inspiration of Falco Tarassaco, né Oberto Airaudi (1950-2013), Damanhur has its own constitution, culture, art, music, currency, schools and uses of science and technology. Its citizens are open to sharing their knowledge and research with other groups and cultures across the world, as well as with anyone who is interested in exploring these areas. Damanhur holds events at numerous centres, organizations and points of outreach in many cities around the world, and also hosts thousands of visitors each year who participate in tours, seminars, retreats and courses through Damanhur University. The community has attracted interest from scholars, educators and researchers in the fields of art, social sciences, spirituality, medicine and alternative health, economics and environmental sustainability. Damanhur is perhaps best known for its extraordinary subterranean work of art and architecture, a cathedral known as the Temples of Humankind, and which has been profiled on international television as the “Eighth Wonder of The World.” This complex was entirely dug by hand into the heart of the mountain. Decorated with mosaics, stained glass, sculptures, wall paintings and other works of art, it is dedicated to the awakening the divine spark present in every human being.
