Accommodation and Meals 3-Tier Rates 2023
Braziers Park is an adult college and home to the longest-running secular community in the UK, it’s an experiment in a different way of living and an opportunity to challenge accepted norms. Braziers Park is managed by its membership and is completely independent of stakeholder finance and influence. This is seen as a great freedom, but it also means we have no buffer from financial pressures and Braziers’ mansion and estate are costly to upkeep.
However, we recognise that money is not everything and that the engagement and participation of a diverse range of people is vital both to our staying relevant in a changing world and to the inclusivity of our educational programme. Hence, we have developed a three-tier rate scheme for board and lodgings at Braziers (tuition is costed independently with some concessions) and invite you to consider your own ability to pay. These rates are only applicable to Braziers internally organised educational events.
The standard rate is intended for those who earn the UK’s average income or more. For those not so well-off, we offer a much-reduced budget rate. For those for whom even this is prohibitively expensive, we can allow a limited number of even lower prices. Please note, only the single standard rate guarantees your own room. Shared rooms have a maximum of 2 people of the same gender.
