The research of Braziers Park School of Integrative Social Research (BPSISR) was first made public in 1950 through the Braziers Park Quarterly and later through the journal Research Communications beginning in 1991. Together with the minutes made during the weekly meetings held since the early days, these publications form an impressive archive of social research. With few exceptions over the years, BPSISR has been a constant source of information about community living.
The upcoming relaunch of Research Communications will have the title: ‘Our Common Ground: Mission, Vision, Purpose’ as it is our intention to re-examine who we are, what we are doing, and where we are going as a community. Contributions will not only come from residents but also from volunteers, members, and visitors whose lives have been touched by this special place.
To make these contributions highly accessible as well as environment friendly, Research Communications 2018 will be web based. This means we don’t just welcome written submissions like short academic articles (max 3000 words), book reviews, and poetry, but also multimedia material like sound and vision.
